Just Getting Started

Hard. At. Work.
So, in this era of iPods, TiVo, Bluetooth, and the occasional WiFi Internet connection, I felt as though I had to be a part of it somehow. The "BLOG" was an unknown word to me even up to about 6 months ago. Through certain avenues such as MySpace and Wikipedia I have learned that you don't have to be a computer geek to understand how blogging, and internet communication in general, have become the industry norm. Henceforth, I have created my own website and also joined the cult known as MySpace...
[both free of charge because I'm not about to drop coin on something that the average person is getting for free. just like this blog, for example. why pay when it can look just fine for free]
... MySpace has given me the opportunity to reunite with old friends from high school and people that i went to college with. Two totally different crowds. One close to home [some stuck here] and the other from all over the globe.
To conclude my first blog, technology is ever changing. Baby Boomers have had computers/internet for about a quarter of their life. Generation X'ers have been around the World Wide Web for over half their life. For those born in the late '80's and beyond, this has been all that you've known your world to be: technologically inclined, self-educated, tech savvy. As for those who have been around long enough to remember the last World War, I applaud the fact that you might actually be reading this, because just getting to this page might have exhausted your dial-up modem, let alone your fingers and your patience.
To All: Good luck keeping up...
